:: Retarget Data plugin for Cinema 4D(Win32)
Download: This plugin was conceived after was asked to me to decouple as much as possible the animator's work by the rigger work. The animator's work is substantially keying the position, scale, rotation and user defined data of some kind of controllers. The philosophy we can follow to let animators and riggers work almost in pipeline is: the rigger creates the base controllers (legs, hands, spine, head). After the animator can start 'blocking' the animation of these body parts. When the animator creates the raw blocking animation, the rigger can continue with the refinements of the setup, such as adding facial controls, other contraints, refine the bone weighting, ecc..
DESCRIPTION This plugin lets to transfer position, scale, rotation from a source object to a target one. You can choose if transfer these parameters for the whole source and target object hierarchy, only for the source and target object, or only for the children's source and target. Moreover you can choose to tranfer the user data from the source and target. The only requirement is that the user data MUST be the same from source to target.
The plugin is still beta-testing, so feel free to contact me for questions, suggestions, critiques. This beta works only on 32-bit platforms.
